Professional Website Design and Development

Graphic Design has been the foundation for all of my work. I went to college at Bemidji State University in Bemidji, Minnesota studying design and truly felt this was what I was going to do the rest of my life. Well, lo and behold, the internet came along and changed my direction somewhat.

I worked at a local print shop for 9 years and honed my skills in design and production. I also became very familiar with prepress processes and was involved in many facets of the printing workflow. From the client's initial ideas to burning plates for the press, I became more and more knowledgeable of each step. This only reinforced my technical skills and in turn, helped me figure out how certain things should be designed from the start to eliminate problems down the line.

I believe that my years in graphic design only strengthen my web design skills and I try to bring that out in all of the websites I produce. I have worked on a large variety of projects from business cards and stationery to multi-page documents exceeding 400 pages. Even though the majority of my work has been web design, I do provide graphic design services and ensure that your project will be creatively designed and technically sound no matter where you end up having it printed.
